Zigpon is an educational platform designed to help drivers understand the process of contesting traffic violations on their own. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and do not form an attorney–client relationship.

2. Information We Collect

Zigpon only collects information required to operate your account and allow you to use the platform.

Account Data

  • Email address (required for login)
  • Password (only stored when you sign up manually; not stored for Google Sign-In)
  • Name (provided during signup or from Google profile)

For Google Sign-In users, authentication information is securely handled by Firebase and not stored on Zigpon servers.

Contact Form Submissions

If you contact us through the platform, we store:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Message content

Cookies and Local Storage

  • Secure session cookie (`__session`) to maintain your login state.
  • Your selected state and violation stored locally so the site can function correctly.

Analytics (Future Use)

Zigpon may use Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics to improve performance and understand user activity. These services collect anonymized usage information, such as pages visited and actions taken. No personally sensitive information is collected by analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only for essential platform functions, including:

  • Creating and securing your account
  • Allowing you to log in and access protected pages
  • Responding to messages sent through the contact form
  • Improving the user experience (analytics, performance optimization)

We do not use your data for advertising or resale.

4. Sharing of Information

Zigpon does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We only share data with:

  • Firebase Authentication (Google) for secure login
  • Our hosting provider to operate the website

We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including Firebase Authentication and secure, HTTP-only cookies, to protect your account from unauthorized access. No security system is perfect, but we take appropriate steps to safeguard your information.

6. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your stored information, including account data and contact form submissions. Once verified, we will permanently delete your data from our servers and Firebase Authentication.

7. Children’s Privacy

Zigpon is intended for adult drivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us to request deletion.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes take effect once posted. Your continued use of Zigpon signifies acceptance of updated terms.
